About Me

Dr. Scott McGinley is a board-certified fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in general and sports medicine injuries for over 20 years. He is a graduate from Bucknell University, and received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at NJMS, and later completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Florida with the Gator Football Team. 

 

Dr. McGinley utilizes a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating a wide variety of conditions including hip and sciatic pain, knee and joint injuries, bursitis, arthritis, and carpal tunnel, osteoarthritic joint pain. Dr. McGinley believes in conservative approaches to pain to best meet the needs of his patients, including the use of injectables for knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle pain, as well as the use of Physical and Occupation Therapy.

 

Dr. McGinley has been serving Clay county for over 10 years. He was voted Best Of Clay in Orthopedic Surgery in 2021. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his four children, swimming and reading, and serving in his local church in the areas of youth ministry.
